Responsibilities:
1. Perform Radio Sites surveys (Radio repeaters, LOS, special requests).
2. Participate with Radio Sites GSM and power equipment installation, and Perform with configuration.
3. Perform Radio Sites preventive maintenance according to the requested plan.
4. Handle and follow up network alarms received from supervision and site performance teams and conduct the suitable corrective maintenance.
5. Perform required technical tests on Radio sites (Power, Radiation, VSWR, etc.), and report the results to the HOS.
6. Handle and follow up modification, swap and upgrade for Radio sites systems and components upon optimization and transmission request and prepare as built document.
7. Contact with concerned Sections to follow up power issues (power problem, new power meter, new transformer…) related the existed Sites.
8. Check and Confirm delivered Material from warehouses with telecom Equipment & distribution teams.
9. Coordinate with Site O&M Coordinator in order to update the daily reports.
10. Participate and Perform in Data collection projects (RFID, Mast Data base,etc…)
11. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company’s goals and corporate objectives.
12. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
13. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor degree in Telecom Engineering or equivalent (electronic, IT, Mechanical…etc.)
2. Experience: 2 years’ experience in Telecom Engineering or Equivalent is a plus
3. Professional Certification: NA
