Responsibilities

– Provides daily specialized curative services at the clinic for Eye cases.

– Provides a referral base at the clinic for more severe cases including surgical intervention to other hospitals.

– Develop or implement plans and procedures for ophthalmologic services.

– Educate patients about maintenance and promotion of healthy vision

– Document or evaluate patients’ medical histories.

– Perform comprehensive examinations of the visual system to determine the nature or extent of ocular disorders.

– Manage and provide directions for the staff in clinic for day to day activities.

– Maintain, submit and update all data reports to clinic manager on daily basis.

– Build, strengthen and share lessons learned regarding best practices to be followed in the clinic.

– Assist in the implementation of the clinic employee orientation programs and training needs of mid-level health staff of the clinic.

– Other related assignments.

 

 

Qualifications

– Medical degree in ophthalmology.

– Minimum of one to three years of related experience.

– Good computer skills.

 

Specific Vacancy Requirements

– Good Communication Skills.

– Able to work within a team.

– Preferably previous experience working in the Humanitarian Field.

– Work in Damascus and Rif Damascus.
