. Job Purpose:
Under the European Union funded UNDP implemented CEDRO 5 project, the intern will be working in close coordination with the communication consultant and the graphic designer and will be reporting to the project manager. The intern will be responsible of translating information provided by the team into visuals and posts for social media, designing publications and reports, and working on content creation of the website.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the CEDRO 5 project team, the intern will be required to:
– Support in designing reports and publications.
– Support in creating and design social media posts.
– Assist in the creation infographic visuals.
– Support with the creation of content for the website and updating the data from the backend.
– Create short 2D animations and motion graphics videos.
Competencies:
– Excellent communication skills, especially English and Arabic languages writing and editing.
– Highly motivated and proactive.
– Resourceful, flexible and able to work within deadlines.
– High sense of responsibility and organization.
Recruitment Qualifications:
Education:
Applicants to the UNDP internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:
(a) Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) in Graphic Design or related fields;
(b) Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent) in Graphic Design or related fields;
(c) Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.
Experience:
– Experience (0-2 years) in social media is a plus
– Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
– Experience in 2D animation is a plus
– Technical photography skills is a plus
– Web design experience is a plus
– Animation experience is a plus
Language Requirements:
– Fluency in written and read English;
– Fluency in Arabic. |
