“Culture and Digital Transformation” Workshop in Lebanon,
May 7 & 8, 2022 – CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!
Dar al-Kalima University (Bethlehem, Palestine) and Dar al-Kalima NGO for Arts and Culture/Nabad Program (Lebanon) are jointly organizing a training workshop on culture and digital transformation in Lebanon on May 7-8, 2022. This workshop precedes the Dar al-Kalima University 24th International Conference on culture and digital transformation that will be held in Cyprus on June 10-11, 2022.
The objective of the workshop in Lebanon is to introduce participants to:
1) the impact of digital transformation on identity, cultural diversity management, and sustainable development;
2) digital arts and communication basic technologies and best practices.
The workshop is addressed to artists, designers, activists, art entrepreneurs, university students, school teachers (arts, cultural studies, cultural heritage, social studies, technology…), etc. interested in learning more about culture and digital transformation.
Workshop Details:
Date and time: Starting Saturday, May 7 at 3 pm and ending on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at 6 pm.
Venue: Bossa Nova Hotel, Sin-el-Fil, Lebanon.

Kindly note that the number of participants is limited, participation is free of charge, and organizers will cover the following workshop-related expenses: accommodation for 1 night at the hotel & meals. In addition, a certificate of participation can be provided by Dar al-Kalima University.
Requirements for Selected Participants:
You will need a tablet or a laptop, and good command of English/Arabic.
