Call for applications to the Arab Master on Democracy and Human rights.

The Arab Masters Programme on Democracy and Human Rights (AR. MA.), which is supported by the Danish Institute for Human Rights, is open for applications for the academic year 2021/2022.
The programme’s first semester takes place in Beirut, Lebanon and addresses four thematic areas. These thematic sections contribute to setting the ground for critically understanding democracy and human rights both in theory and in practice. During the second semester, the students stay at either Birzeit University (Palestine), the International University of Rabat (Morocco), The university of Jordan or the University of Carthage (Tunisia). The second semester is to research and writing the master thesis.
The Danish Institute for Human Rights provides scholarships to students from the MENA region, teachers and courses during the first semester. The Arab Master is part of the Global Campus of Regional Masters in Human Rights and Democracy supported by the European Union.
