İnsana Değer Derneği is looking for (Finance & Admin Officer) in Northwest Syria. 

 

 

Position: Finance & Admin Officer  

Number of openings: 1 vacant 

Duty location: Azaz- NW Syria 

 

End of application date: 10 September 2021 

 

 

 GENERAL POST DISCRIPTION: 

Finance: Responsible for Finance tasks in coordination with SFO/DFM. 

Admin: Responsible for administrative tasks related to HR in coordination with HRO/HRM. 

 

REPORTING LINES 

Reporting to:  

Technically: Finance – SFO / HR: HRM 

Field: Area manager 

 

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:  

I. FINANCE TASKS: 

• Cash management service in IDD office: advance disbursements, direct bills, invoices, monitoring of cash balance, preparing weekly cash inventories 

• Keep records of all cash operations in physical Cash Book 

• Provide financial support to the project staff 

• Scanning of all cash documentation and its filing 

• Other ad-hoc activities as scheduled by the Mandator  

• Ensuring that documents comply with the Mandator´s internal procedures and donor requirements 

 

 

II. HUMAN RESOURCES TASKS: 

• Performs HR related tasks in coordination with HR Officer/Manager 

• Facilitates the completion and filing of all administrative procedures concerning local 

• employees: contracts, amendments, disciplinary documents, terminations, etc (printing, signature, scanning and sending) 

• Collect and archive the monthly timesheets & leaves and maintain it updated on tracker.  

• Maintains personal files for the local office on the drive related. 

• Assist with translation of documents from Arabic to English and vice versa. 

• Assist HRM/HRO in monthly payroll. 

• Assist HRM/HRO in the recruitment processes (Posting announcement, conduct interviews, hiring) 

 

III. Other: 

 

• Other tasks assigned by employee’s Line Manager corresponding to actual needs of the mission, programs, and projects. 

• Understand and adhere to the mission’s National Staff Handbook, IDD Code of Conduct, IDD Key Policies and relevant guidelines. 

 

PRINCIPAL COMPETINCES REQUIRED:  

 

TECHNICAL COMPETINCES REQUIRED:  

• High school degree, bachelor degree.  

• 1-3 years’ experience in same field and in working with NGO. 

• Good language skills in Arabic and English. 

• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) 

• Excellent organization, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills; and capacity to prioritize, communicate effectively and meet deadlines; 

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds;
