Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst will be working under the direct supervision of the Education Officer. He/she will be responsible for communicating Education-related information, coordinating with IM officer in SIF, for procedures related to data of beneficiaries, gathering data from the field through communication with data entry staff, follow up on activities and reporting
The Data Analyst will perform the following tasks:
• Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business.
• Identifying patterns and trends in data sets.
• Working alongside teams within the organization or the management team to establish organization needs.
• Defining new data collection and analysis processes.
• Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques.
• Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Collecting, collating and interpreting data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.
• Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analyst will develop analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics science, economics or related field.
• Ability to analyze and extract results and trends,
• build reports and presentations, and make recommendations.
• Advanced skills in Excel program.
• Knowledge of a programming language is advantage
• Ability to communicate and team interactions skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Data Visualization
• Statistical modeling.
