Shelter Project officer – Civil engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Following up with field team the detailed implementation of activities, challenges, and amendments if any.
2. Follow-up of project implementation in all phases, work plan and schedule, distribution plan, checking beneficiary lists, prepare the flyers, forms, reports … etc.
3. Provide ongoing, regular technical support to implementing partners and consultants to ensure that graveling activities are completed effectively and in a timely manner.
4. Working in harmony with all other project staff and field teams for the effective and efficient day-to-day management of the shelter activities.
5. Review the complaints with the project manager to find better solutions.
6. Ensure strong coordination of project activities to beneficiaries and different stakeholders under the supervision of the Project manager.
7. Support in the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of project activities.
8. Ensure that all project information organized and accessible.
9. Contributes to developing Tor’s for following procurement and distribution plans, project monitoring system, regular situation update, and reporting.
10. Make decisions that impact on the project activities are made in conjunction with project manager.

Required Qualifications:
1- BA in Engineering or equivalent.
2- 2 Years relevant work experience.
3- Experience in the shelter projects.
4- Advance Skills in English language.
5- Experience in humanitarian work and principles.
