POSITION DESCRIPTION

The incumbent is one of the points of contact on all Amideast/Lebanon social media marketing campaigns, promotional efforts, and presence across the diverse social media digital platforms. S/he is also the first point of contact for all Amideast/Lebanon social media accounts, identifies potential areas for Amideast/Lebanon social media exposure and makes sure Amideast/Lebanon is properly represented in the different on-line national and regional platforms and social media suites. The incumbent increases awareness about Amideast’s services, programs, activities, and initiatives, promotes Amideast, responds to clients demands on social media and helps support the customer retention and satisfaction with the service provided. S/he conducts research to capture the social media data about the marketplace and assists in developing a database of current and potential clients, along with interacting with on-line potential clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media and Marketing
• Oversee social marketing campaigns and all promotional efforts in coordination with the different departments.
• Manage social media and other digital platforms, including creating, editing, and uploading video, posts, and graphics relevant to the organization’s mission
Manage day-to-day content updates to the website, under the direction of the different managers
• Implement digital marketing activities across a broad range of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email, mobile, and more)
• Create and/or coordinate with designers and/or agency on all needed graphics and media
• Solicit high-quality success stories and images from grantees and alumni for use across platforms
• Track social media activity, analytics, and engagement.
• Provide data for periodic reporting requirements
• Analyze user engagement, think creatively about audience and engagement growth and monitor analytics to identify viable ideas and suggest ways to reach a broader audience
• Assist in review and update of all print and digital materials to ensure compliance with branding guidelines
• Manage membership of private groups and monitor activity across platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blog, and program specific applications
• Brainstorm new content ideas and strategize with managers and designers
• Develop weekly content calendars for all departments and the various social media platforms
• Design image, GIF, and video creative posts using different tools (canvas, adobe creative cloud, Pablo, desyner, snappa, etc.)
• Stay abreast of emerging digital tools and platforms, digital marketing trends, marketing analytics reports and share insights with the team to develop optimization plans
• Attend workshops and events to solicit success stories and provide coverage of those events
• Handless JorMall messaging system and all survey reporting
Social Media & Customer Service
• Deal directly with customers on social media
• Direct, handles and resolves customers’ issues, requests, information shared on social media
• Obtain and evaluates all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints on social media
• Record details of customer interactions and transactions inquiries, comments, complaints, and actions taken.
• Respond accurately, professionally and in a timely manner to clients’ questions, suggestions, complaints, orders, cancelations, and other queries on social media.
• Compile and updates data related to areas of Amideast’s activity on social media platforms
• Take on additional duties and responsibilities, as needed

Required

• A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS in communication, media, social sciences or other
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in managing social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Hootsuite)
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• A basic understanding of updating webpages
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere is required
• Experience and interest in digital community management
• Proven English & Arabic Language writing and editing skills
• Graphic design, photo and video editing skills required
• High sense of attention to details and has the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Must possess organization, problem-solving skills and manage time efficiently
• Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
• Approachable and professional
• Applicant must be based in Lebanon and can legally work in Lebanon
