Responsibilities
– Determine and evaluate the needs of the IDP families and report the needs to the Project Manager.
– Accompany the technical field officers to identify locations of buildings and the IDPs residing in them.
– Record the required data for social assessments (according to specified project monitoring requirements).
– Review the previous visits to the IDPs to avoid the repetition of visits.
– Participate in distribution of NFIs and hygiene kits.
– Monthly (or as required) updates for NFI distribution and Social Assessments.
– Assist the technical team with the technical assessments when required.
– Record Google-based geographical locations of apartments being rehabilitated.
– Report to the Project Manager on the satisfaction of the IDPs on identified problems being repaired/replaced.
– Participate in regular training interventions planned by the ADRA Syria administration.
Qualifications
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s Degree in social Science or similar.
– At least 1 year experience performing similar tasks
– Good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills sensitive to the cultural environment
– Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
– Ability and willingness to work and travel under hardship conditions
– Be culturally sensitive, friendly and caring
– English skills an advantage.
