The Area Manager is responsible for ensuring high quality and cost effective program/project implementation within the designated geographical area, in compliance with NRC and donors’ policies and procedures.
S/he will represent NRC at area level and represent area priorities within the Country Management Group. As a member of the leadership team the Area Manager ensures that staff observe NRC’s Code of Conduct and other guiding principles and that NRC’s financial, human and other resources are carefulty controlled to ensure maximum impact for affected communities is achieved..
Position Responsibilities include:
Line management for senior project staff and support functions in the area
• Member of the Country Management Group (CMG) Compliance with and adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures Provide area specific input on CC strategies, Country Strategy and Plan of Action.
