“AMAL for Education is a non profit organization developing and supporting educational projects in Syria, Lebanon and Turkey and in the Middle East.

Amal for Education’s objectives are: supporting and empowering schools and educational centres inside and outside Syria; development and promotion of reading and literacy with the creation of small libraries and centres in schools and refugee camps; support of cultural and information initiatives like newspapers, journals, magazines for children, books and teaching and learning materials developed with local partners; support and promotion of commercial and craftmanship especially by women in order to stimulate economy and fund educational projects; dissemination of correct and balanced information on the situation where it operated through the production of informative materials on relevant information channels.”
