Hygiene Expert

To lead the hygiene promotion activities in coordination with the local partners in the field.
Support the Local Coordinator in the communication with local and regional officials, UN, INGO, and other agencies in planning, coordination, promotion of, and support, for hygiene related matters.
To participate in the design and implementation of the campaign needs assessment.
To identify the needs and resources required for hygiene promotion activities.
To plan, design, implement and monitor the hygiene promotion action according to the pre-assessment.
To develop and adapt interactive participatory approach throughout the design and the delivery of all hygiene promotion activities.
To ensure that hygiene promotion activities are in line with the planned framework and meet the project objectives and required outputs.
To prepare and hold training courses to improve the capacity of the partners in term of hygiene and health.
To organize hygiene promotion campaigns, workshops and meetings to develop the knowledge of the targeted students and HHs in term of hygienic and health practices.
To write minutes with conclusions, recommendations and action points resulting from all meetings and field visits.
To participate in the writing of any technical documents related to the implementation of hygiene promotion activities (surveys, reporting, etc.).
To ensure the proper use/collection of the sources of verification related to hygiene promotion activities.
To participate in the coordination for the designing and the distribution of the hygiene and cleaning kits.
To maintain a constant network for a strong collaboration between the main actors and stakeholders.
To prepare progress reports on regular basis including references to achievement, obstacles faced and solutions taken to overcome them.
To successfully apply in his/her work existing national standard, protocols and procedures on the matter of hygiene.
To carry out any other duties as requested by the Project Manager
