Responsibilities
•Work directly with the BTL team leaders and the project coordinator to address the SBC activities in a high-quality manner, under the Unicef project.
•Design the SBC activities and conduct capacity building and inductions for the related staff.
•Provides strategic direction and leadership in social and behavior change communication to meet UNICEF requirement targets/goals and deadlines.
•Manages and leads staff related to the SBC activities, to ensure efficient and timely implementation of social and behavior change communication, community outreach, and social media.
•Communicate and coordinate on the field level with the related stackholders in order to conduct the SBC activities.
•Work closely with the project coordinator on the design, planning, and implementation of a comprehensive SBC strategy.
•Provide staff with ongoing policy and training guidance on social and behavior change communication.
•Ensures the timeliness, cost, and quality of all activities related to social and behavior change communication.
•Prepares required reporting for social and behavior change activities.
•Other duties as assigned.
Reporting
•Report on the project activities on a daily basis
•Ensure timely submission of follow-up reports to the concerned person and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the reporting.
•Participate in the reporting of project activities
Qualifications
•A university degree in education, humanities, or a related field.
•2 years of experience working with non-governmental or international organizations/associations.
• Experience in the use of computers and Microsoft programs (Word – Excel).
•Good level of English speaking.
•Good reporting skills.
•Demonstrated problem-solving skills, collaboration experience, creativity, and initiative to develop innovative approaches.
•Demonstrated ability to communicate, including public speaking, take direction, assume leadership, and make rational decisions.
•Ability to train and facilitate dialogue among a diverse group of individuals with various skill sets and work styles.
•High motivation, initiative, and adaptability.
•An ability to work successfully in challenging settings with limited resources
